I help organisations lead with purpose and impact
A Professor of Management at Macquarie Business School, I am a scholar of corporate social responsibility (CSR), responsible management education (RME), and volunteerism. I aim to lead meaningful research, impactful teaching, and significant engagement with industry.
I am a TED speaker and an engaging and inspirational public speaker on purpose, social responsibility, and the future of higher education. I've delivered keynote addresses in Australia, the US, and Europe. Having worked with many corporations towards purpose and impact, I also created and led the CSR Partnership Network with leading Australian and multinational corporations.
My research is always aimed at creating a positive impact and leading change. I do so as the editor-in-chief of Society and Business Review, and the author of over 60 academic papers and several books: Strategic CSR, The Purpose-Driven University and Employee Engagement in CSR. An awarded and highly ranked teacher at Macquarie Business School, I aim to inspire my students to lead with compassion and impact.
Due to the impact of this research, my work is often covered by the media, including The New York Times, Financial Review, European Financial Review, and others. I am always delighted to contribute to the media, including leading newspapers, TV, online publications, and podcasts.
